Stage 1

Stage 1 tuning involves re-calibrating the car’s existing ECU software to gain more power and torque within the limitations of the stock car. The “goalof a stage 1 remap is to enhance the driving performance of the car while maintaining the reliability needed for an everyday road car. No mechanical components are upgraded with stage 1 tuning. Typical power gains are around +30% for turbo diesel engines, +25% for turbo/supercharged petrol engines and upto +10% for NA engines.”

Stage 2

tuning involves mild upgrades,usually intercooler intake and exhaust upgrade.These upgrades means we can gain some more power than the stage 1 tune but also improve how well the power is delivered at low and mid range RPM’s. Reliability is still an important goal,but there will be shortened life of many wearable components,especially with an over aggressive driving style.”

Stage 3

tuning involves heavy investment on upgrades. Forged engine parts, Hybrid turbos,intake systems,exhaust , clutch , gearbox etc..Limitations are really only down to budget. This state of tuning is generally for track use.”
